Affiliate Marketing Without a Website: 5 Ways That Work

October 23, 2026by Mark Dayton

Yes, you can do affiliate marketing without a website. Social media, short videos, YouTube, Facebook groups and email all work. The one thing you shouldn't skip is a simple capture page, so you can follow up with people instead of getting one shot.

For years I thought I needed a perfect website before I could start. That belief kept me stuck building things instead of talking to people. Here's what actually works without one.

Disclosure: I'm an independent OLSP affiliate and may earn a commission if you join through my links. Results vary and aren't guaranteed.

1. Facebook Posts and Conversations

Share what you're learning and what's working on your own profile. When people comment or ask questions, start a real conversation. Your link comes in when someone is actually looking for what you found. I go deeper in Be a Resource, Not a Salesman.

2. Short Videos (Reels, TikTok, Shorts)

Short videos can reach people who've never heard of you. Keep them simple: one tip, one lesson or one honest moment from your journey. Put your link in your profile, not in every caption.

3. YouTube

YouTube videos keep getting found in search for months or years. Walkthroughs, honest reviews and "what I learned this week" videos work well. Your link goes in the description.

4. Your Own Facebook Group

A group gives people a place to gather around what you share. I run Beyond The Paycheck for people building income beyond their job. Help first; the right people will ask about your link.

5. Email

Email is the one channel you own. Social platforms change their rules; your list stays yours. A simple series of helpful emails follows up for you every day.

The One Piece You Shouldn't Skip

You don't need a website, but you do want a capture page: a simple page that asks for a name and email before sending someone on. Without it, every visitor who isn't ready that second is gone forever.

Some systems give you this ready-made. With OLSP, the products, sales pages and checkout behind the MegaLink are already built, so you only share your link.

FAQ

Do I need a website to be an affiliate?
No. Many affiliates promote on social media, video and email. A capture page helps you follow up, and some programs provide one.
Where do I put my affiliate link without a website?
In your social media profile, video descriptions, emails, and in conversations when someone is looking for what you offer.
Can I do affiliate marketing without showing my face?
Yes. Text posts, screen recordings, voiceovers and email all work without showing your face.
